Anthony Georgou is a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. Born in 1985 in Athens, Greece, he attended the Musical Praxis Conservatory and the Kingston University in London for composition, and holds a teaching diploma in electric guitar from The London College of Music. He has collaborated with major film production companies in Athens, scoring for film, TV, radio, corporate films and fashion shows, and over the past decade he's composed and sold more than 30 jingles for TV and radio advertisements. At the age of 18, he formed the indie-rock band Absent Mindead. One of the songs he composed and co-produced for the band was listed by Billboard magazine as one of six finalists at the Diesel-u-music International Competition. He has recorded, arranged, and mixed albums for bands Sad Disco, The Zebra Tracks, Wise Lines, Keyser Soze, The Noise Figures and more. He has composed music for the shows of Greek fashion designers Deux Hommes and Sotiris Georgiou, Kodak, The Olympic Games, The Disney Lab in Zurich, Animatic Vision's video game TBF, as well as Seppia Interactive's Hello, Venice. Films include documentary Stem-Cell Foundation, Nikos Pastras' Lost Girl, Filipos Vokotopoulos' Express Service, and Hunting Frogs, directed by Adam Karapidis. He is currently continuing his work in composition at his studio in Athens, where he serves as a much sought-after music producer.
