“The role of lone-woodsman Osborne Fergus could not have been played by anyone other than Solomon Shiv. He's an absolute force. During the audition process, we saw many actors that were able to embody the darkness of the character, but Solomon understood that this tall, angry outsider carried himself like a small man. He knew that as long as we saw the sadness of him knowing himself as one, he didn't have to play the monster.”
