Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Susan Hunt and her family traveled the United States searching for a place to call home. They eventually settled in Houston, Texas for her formative years, where she attended The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts followed by The University of Houston, where she studied acting and music. She now calls Brooklyn, NY home, where she and husband Howard Hunt own and operate production company, Five Sigma Films, as well as a dive bar in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

 

Susan has worked in several aspects of film production, having directed, produced and edited numerous films, commercials, and music videos. She wrote and directed the award winning short film Sweet Sweet Baby for Snowball's Chance Productions, the short film Hang Me Down (currently in post-production), and executive produced Grand, directed by Mikel Neiers. She also served as producer for Viktor Luna's directorial debut, The Exalted, and for Starr Films' For Francis (directed by Angelique Letizia), having previously edited their short film I Like Crazy, directed by Francesco Saviano.

 

The Ones That Have Fallen is her feature-length directorial debut.
